Cat Sitting and Cat Sitters

Cat owners love cats. That's easy. Our cat sitters love cats too. So what happens during a cat sitting visit?

After our consultation where we get all the instructions needed for our cat sitting, your cat sitter will come into your home very carefully. Our cat sitters make sure your kitty will not escape the house. We will try to locate your cat when we arrive. Of course, some felines do a great job of hiding. We will have learned where their hiding spots are, so we can locate them to make sure they are alright.

They will get their food and water, we will clean the litter box, and we will make the house look lived in. The Woof Pack's cat sitters do this by alternating lights and blinds, bringing in the mail and paper, and taking the cans out on garbage day, and bringing them back in. With cats, we can alternate our times when we make our visits as well (unless specific time ranges are requested) so someone is seen at the house during different times of the day.

The rest of the time will be spent with your cat. Cats need attention, and during our cat sitting, your kitty will receive love and attention such as brushing, play time, and lots of petting.

So, what if your pretty feline does not come out while the cat sitter is there? Good question. We will locate your cat, and we will sit and simply talk to your cat. Even though they may not want to come out while we are cat sitting, they still do need some stimulation. And having our cat sitters talk to them will stimulate their minds, and they may just come out after all.

So, what if your cat needs medication? Meds are given to your cat as part of our catsitting. Whether they need pills, creams, or even injections or fluids, our cat sitters will provide this for you. If your cat will hide and not want to come out for someone new, you will need to confine them in a room where the cat sitter will be able to administer the medication, however.
